1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using UniRooms ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please do not use the Platform if you disagree with any part of these terms.

2. Use of Service

UniRooms is designed to help property owners manage student housing listings. You agree to use the Platform lawfully and to respect the rights of other users.

Prohibited behavior includes harassment, offensive language, disrupting conversations, unauthorized access attempts, fake listings, and any fraudulent or illegal activities.

3. Account Registration

Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
Keep your password confidential and notify us of unauthorized account access.
Accept responsibility for all activity under your account.

4. Listings and Content

You are responsible for the listings you publish. You warrant that you own the listings or have the rights to list them, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you comply with all laws, permissions, and intellectual property requirements.

5. Payments and Fees

Certain premium services (listings activation, visibility boosts, verification badges) may incur fees. Fees exclude taxes, which you are responsible for paying.

⚠️ Important:

UniRooms does not handle rent collection. Rental payments must be arranged directly between owners and tenants; UniRooms is not liable for payment disputes.

6. Intellectual Property

The Platform's content, features, and functionality belong to UniRooms and our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, sell, or exploit any portion of the Platform without written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

UniRooms, its officers, and employees are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." We make no guarantees about uninterrupted or error-free service, or the accuracy and completeness of any content.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify UniRooms and its representatives against any claims, damages, losses, or costs (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these terms.

10. Termination

UniRooms may suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including violation of these terms, fraud, or abusive behavior.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes must be brought in the courts of Ghana.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after posting updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes.
